Sabyasachi Hazra did his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Fine Arts (Drawing and Painting) from the Institute of Fine Arts of the University of Dhaka. A prolific illustrator
with around 3,000 book cover designs under his belt, Sabyasachi has worked as the creative director for several dailies and weeklies. He has worked as creative editor and artist for numerous dailies and weeklies. He has worked as creative editor and artist for numerous dailies and weeklies and is a prolific illustrator with around three thousand book cover designs in his portfolio. He has designed numerous posters, logos, and brand guidelines. Sabyasachi is the man behind creating the logo of Mujib Year, the Eternal Mujib memento and multiple posters released by the National Implementation Committee for the Celebration of Mujib
Borsho. A recipient of numerous awards and honors for his illustrations, Sabyasachi is also affiliated with Bangla Academy and Bangladesh Shilpokola Academy for design and illustration. He
has authored two thematic publications for children named Chitrolipi (a pictorial introduction to Bangla Alphabet) and Rong Tulite ChopChap (art appreciation guideline for children). Sabyasachi has also contributed to the concept and content of a couple of coffee table books including Buddhist Heritage of Bangladesh, Bangladesh, Ekattor: Moment of Victory, Postage Stamps on Liberation of Bangladesh, Coins from Bangladesh, and Robi Bichitra. He has also jointly edited a photo book titled as Mujib 100 to commemorate the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
