
Parthe Sarker

Parthe Sarker is a communication specialist, journalist and film maker. He has worked as journalist for a decade in the leading newspapers of the land. He also worked for 7 years in different PR agencies & corporate before joining BOXOFFICE. When he was a student of physics in University of Dhaka, he started career as a journalist in Daily Prothom Alo. Parthe was there from 2005 to 2015.
In 2014 Parthe left Journalism and joined Concito PR as Head of Communications (2014- 2016). He looked after Airtel, Banglalink, Samsung, Huawei, Nandos, Bikroy.com, UCB, GE, IPDC, Micromax, Maximus, Mango Mobile, Le Meridien and many more renowned brands. In May 2016 Parthe moved in Bitopi to rebuild the PR wing of Bitopi Leo Burnett as Head of PR & Media Communications. There he looked after Samsung, Symphony, The Best of Global Digital Marketing, Bellissimo, Heidelberg Cement, Remi Holdings, USAID, ICT Division, Fanta, MGH, BEOL, IDCOL, Nestle, City Bank, Ifad, Save The Children, etc. Later, Parthe
worked for ADON Communications as Head of Business. After joining BOXOFFICE Parthe looking after national & international brands like: Zee5, Hoichoi Bangladesh, Binge, BRAC, Action Aid, Care Bangladesh, GoZayaan, Mount Elizabeth Hospital Singapore, The Foreign Investors’ Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) & many more. Parthe have been one of the core campaigners of Dhaka Lit Fest from last couple of years.
Right now, Parthe is also involved with Kaler Kantho & Dainik Bangla as an ICT & Telco specialist freelance journalist. Sarker was the Assistant director of prominent film director Tareque Masud. Later he started
his directorial carrier in 2010. His first film “BATCH 2003” is released at April’21.
