Nibras Ahmed Durlov is a Sociology major from the University of Dhaka and also has a professional master’s degree in Disaster Management from the Institute of
Disaster Management and Vulnerable Studies, DU. He is a trained photographer and an E-sports enthusiast since his early undergrad days. He was also involved in various social and cultural activities throughout his student life. After post-graduation, he was involved in various research works. Among them the most notable one working as the Research Assistant for Western Sydney University on their “The Psychological Impact of Labour Trafficking in Asia: A Mixed Method Study of Returned Bangladeshi Survivors”, research conducted by Dr Ahmed Abid Khan. Later on, he started as an External Consult for the Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) for their National Information Platform for Nutrition (NIPN) project Communications Specialist. NIPN was implemented by Helen Keller International along with BIDS and the project was supported by the European Union. He has also worked for Matra Advertising Agency, Electro Records, Gen Lab, and Red Rocket Ltd. His photography works have been awarded by UNDP and were published in their publications. For BOXOFFICE, he worked on a Documentation project on SRHR for UNFPA. He has also prepared scripts for GIZ and BRAC.
