BOXOFFICE’s Khandakar RH Shumon graduated in Journalism & Media Studies from Stamford University of Bangladesh. He was involved in photography &
filmmaking since his graduation days. He started working at BOXOFFICE as an Assistant Director in 2018. Shumon completed different types of productions for BOXOFFICE like Fiction, TVC, OVC, Documentary, Audio Visual, and Publication for clients like Govt. of Bangladesh, BRAC, IOM, MetLife, WaterAid, ActionAid Bangladesh, CARE Bangladesh, IPDC Finance, SINGER, SERVIER, HoiChoi, Binge, Modele Group, Sino Bangla Packaging Ltd., Bangladesh Police, and a few others. He also led various audio-visual projects on behalf of BOXOFFICE including fiction as a director for BRAC, Plan International, SNV Netherlands, ILO, IPDC Finance,
Policy Link, WorldFish, UNFPA, Dutch Bangla Packaging Ltd. and CARE Bangladesh. As a photographer, Shumon has also participated in several national and international photo exhibitions. His work has been showcased in many national and international exhibitions including local news and media outlets. He has successfully completed photography and videography assignments for WaterAid, GDRI, BRAC, IOM, ILO, CFISS and Bangladesh Police. Shumon’s work has also published in several photo books which include, 2021: The World Should Speak Out, Published by Central Foundation for International Strategic Studies. 2021: Shwapnojatray Keraniganj, Published by Bangladesh Awami League.
